Carpenter's Shelter
Carpenter's is Alexandria's main shelter for the homeless. In addition to providing emergency housing to families, single men and women, Carpenters provides the training and programs (A.A., adult literacy, mental health counseling) that lead to self-sufficiency.
To learn of current volunteer needs, visit Carpenter's Shelter online.
In addition to our overflow shelter at St. Clement's, our parishioners also provide a dinner for the residents of Carpenters Shelter every 3rd Sunday of the month.
If you would like to assist, please email or call the office at (703) 998-6166.
