The Adult Faith Formation process is an exciting program which was started in the ancient church in order to assist people in learning about the Christian faith, how to live as a Christian, and prepare for Baptism.
This process is being revived in the church today for much of the same purpose. It is a way for us to bring people to Christ and the Church and to give them the tools needed to live their faith. Faith formation is a life long process and this program is designed to give us the tools and support we need for this life long journey.
The process we are beginning this fall has a twofold purpose. First, it is intended to introduce the congregation to the Adult Faith Formation process. Second, is to provide an opportunity for members of the congregation who wish to deepen their faith and reaffirm their baptismal vows, or who perhaps wish to be formally received from another denomination into the Episcopal Church, or for adults who wish to be Confirmed.
