Prayer shawls are used to reach out to those in need of comfort while undergoing difficult times such as an illness, surgery, a loss or bereavement. We hope that all those who receive them will feel God's love as well as our own. The response from the individuals who have received the prayer shawls has been positive and heart warming.
If you knit, crochet, or would like to learn how, please join us. We have more yarn than you can imagine. If you embroider, needlepoint, count cross stitches, lap quilt (or are putting a section of a big one together), work on a portable craft, or anything else I can't remember, we'd love to have you join us. If you'd like to come and sit a spell with us and share some wonderful conversation and companionship, this is the place to be.
