The Rt. Rev. Peter James Lee, Bishop of Virginia, installed the Rev. John D. Hortum as Rector of the Church of St. Clement on Sunday, January 14, 2001.

John joined us on October 8, 2000, after two years as Director of Chaplain Services at the Goodwin House Episcopal Retirement Community,

Falls Church. Prior to that, John was Assistant to the Rector of the Church of St. Clement.

John is shown next to the banner of the Church of St. Clement (on which is shown the phoenix arising in a colorful flame of new life).
